These are very small starfish, about the right size for crafts. Though these starfish are very small, they are otherwise pretty much what you would expect starfish to be.

Unlike Tan starfish, they are fairly thick for their size and have a lot of plainly visible detail. It is obvious at first glance that they are indeed real starfish, just tiny ones.

In addition to being more desirable and popular than tan starfish, they are also much more expensive!

In case you're tempted to look up "brown starfish" in a search engine, let me warn you in advance that in popular parlance it has a completely different meaning!
