Sugar Starfish are pretty much what you would expect a starfish to be.
Sugarstars
aren't as "generic" as brown starfish but come in the range of
sizes you'd expect a starfish to be.
They get their name from the grnualar texture of their skin that makes them look like they are surgar coated. Depite the name, they
are not considered edible and would probably taste terrible!

They have a very interesting appearance on both the top and bottom and, as you can see from these pictures, tend to be medium
brown to orange in color. I have 3 specimens here, one is in the 3 inch range and the others in the 2 inch range (1 inch=25.4mm).
They can be commonly found in much larger
sizes!
