Like many insect antennas, lacewing antennas start out fairly wide and very gradually taper toward the
end with each segment being just slightly narrower than the one before it. The final segement is kind
of a rounded cone shape with an elongated point at the top.
As with the wings, the penetration of mountant was incomplete and uneven, and this can been seen in the
uneven preservation of the antenna.
