| Mustache hairs aren't all that much different from eyebrow hairs. The main difference being that they tend to grow longer. As with eyebrow hairs there is often a lot of variation in the thickness and color of individual hairs. Experts in the field can identify hairs as coming from a particular species, can tell what part of the body they came from and can even tell if they came from a particular individual.
