Marchrrtia Mature Saprophyte is the label on this slide, but what is it? The term "Marchrrtia" produces a lot of hits on google, but they are all related to this slide set! The only real word that comes close is "Marchantia" which is a kind of liverwort. Saprophyte is an obsolete term referring to a type of plant that doesn't actually exist! Maybe this is a misspelling of "Sporophyte"
