The Sclerenchyma is composed of dead cells, much like our own
skin and hair. In fact, you could say that one of the differences between plants and us is that our dead cells are on the outside
whereas theirs are on the inside. The walls of these cells are mostly cellulose, that indigestible but very useful material that
makes up the fibers used in rope, etc.
